Concrete Walls

THE CHALLENGE

Wall sections were being cast between precast columns. It was impossible to reach the mix so internal vibrator could not be used.

VIBCO'S SOLUTION

Model US-1600 High Frequency Electric vibrators were used with wood form brackets (page 10), 2 x 4 wood planks were placed on the Symons form at 4' intervals and the vibrator was clamped to the wood.

THE RESULT

The concrete consolidated properly and an excellent almost architectural surface finish was obtained by using the high frequency vibrators.

THE CHALLENGE

Had to get concrete to flow under air flue, there was no way to use internal vibrators.

VIBCO'S SOLUTION

Model VS- 320 Pneumatic Vibrator was placed on Symons form with clamp blocks.

THE RESULTS

Concrete worked itself around sides to fill the pocket under flue. A simple solution to a difficult problem.
